Hey, Evil One, this has nothing to do with Solomon Kane, but you're the first guy I thought of who might be able to help me. I'm going to be running a 2nd Edition AD&D adventure wherein a group of over-the-hill adventurers come out of retirement. What I'm looking for is info on the effects of aging. Any ideas?
look on or around page 24 of the AD&D players handbook. there is table 12 that gives the effects of aging. generally for humans at 45 take a -1 to STR and CON and a +1 to WIS and INT. At 60 take another -2 to STR/DEX, -1 to CON and a +1 WIS. At 90 another -1 to STR/DEX/CON and a +1 to INT/WIS No Alzheimer's in AD&D
I'm looking forward to it. I know it's a non-Howard blessed origin story and seems to only have elements from some of the poems. But if it does well we can expect a second movie, in Africa, with more Howard adaptation(s.)
This looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteNot sure what that monster was at the end but it looks fairly cool. I'm a big fan of the stories.

There should be a law against trailers that basically show the whole movie. I wish I hadn't seen that, though the movie does have promise.

ReplyDeleteAnd that will be even better.
Thanks for the tip, O' Evil One. I knew it was in there somewhere. It's been about a decade since I last cracked the PHB.
