Woo Hoo! Aloha Adsense, Hola Amazon!

Well guys Adsense finally paid up.
Thanks to your help I was able to raise $107.00 for my Geek-Boy shopping spree.

I promise every single penny of that money will go to nothing but games, comics, books, dvd's, toys, or anything else that strikes my Geeky desire!

Bills?
Car payments?
Groceries?
Bite me.

It's my patriotic duty to put these funds right back into the US economy. And I can think of no better way (other than a couple of lap dances)to do that than at my friendly neighborhood Comic/Game store!

Once again thanks to you all. I honestly couldn't have done it without you.

I'm replacing the Adsense adverts with Amazon. So if your gonna buy something from Amazon anyway, what the hell, buy it here.

  1. If they paid up, why are you replacing Adsense with Amazon?

  2. mostly since it was just for kicks.
They pay, but only when you get to $100.00
Which in reality is hard to do. you guys did a great job of clicking and I posted some chick pics but after awhile it would get old.

with amazon I get a gift card every time I reach $10.00
plus I get to put up ads for stuff I want to recommend to you guys.

  3. Ah, that makes very good sense, then. I may do something with them myself.

I'm a bit surprised to see "Kingdom of Heaven" on your Amazon widget. I remember seeing the movie myself and feeling it was a bit choppy and soft in the middle. I don't suppose we could pester you for a quick review?

I'm shocked. I thought you commited all my Blog posts to memory.

    Heres a post from 07292007:

Back in April I posted that Kingdom of Heaven will be re-released as an expanded directors cut with tons of additional footage. I saw it the other day, and believe me it’s like watching a whole other movie. So much was explained and made clear, there were whole story arcs that were abandoned by the studio that Ridley Scott felt were necessary to the story (and they were) the story is richer for all the added material. Just to give you a glimpse: I just couldn’t get my head around the fact that this village blacksmith could arrive in Jerusalem and suddenly know how to build trebuchets and fight off a siege. Well in the extended version we find out that Balian the blacksmith is not only an accomplished smith but also a veteran soldier who served as an engineer and sapper. That little nugget of info took like 5 seconds to convey but was left out of the theatrical version- talk about missing important plot points! If you are a fan of epic motion pictures you really owe it to yourself to see the extended cut of this movie. It’s a definite must have!
