Until the "Official trailer comes out (or you tube removes this), this is all we have. I'll take it.
Thanks Chris.

This looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteNot sure what that monster was at the end but it looks fairly cool. I'm a big fan of the stories.
ReplyDeleteHey, Evil One, this has nothing to do with Solomon Kane, but you're the first guy I thought of who might be able to help me. I'm going to be running a 2nd Edition AD&D adventure wherein a group of over-the-hill adventurers come out of retirement. What I'm looking for is info on the effects of aging. Any ideas?
ReplyDeletelook on or around page 24 of the AD&D players handbook. there is table 12 that gives the effects of aging.
ReplyDeletegenerally for humans at 45 take a -1 to STR and CON and a +1 to WIS and INT.
At 60 take another -2 to STR/DEX, -1 to CON and a +1 WIS.
At 90 another -1 to STR/DEX/CON and a +1 to INT/WIS
No Alzheimer's in AD&D
There should be a law against trailers that basically show the whole movie. I wish I hadn't seen that, though the movie does have promise.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to it. I know it's a non-Howard blessed origin story and seems to only have elements from some of the poems. But if it does well we can expect a second movie, in Africa, with more Howard adaptation(s.)
ReplyDeleteAnd that will be even better.
Thanks for the tip, O' Evil One. I knew it was in there somewhere. It's been about a decade since I last cracked the PHB.
